NCP-SCP MP Supriya Sule Denies BJP's Bitcoin Scam Allegations, Calls Videos and Voice Messages Fake

NCP-SCP MP Supriya Sule has rejected allegations by the BJP that misappropriated bitcoin was used to finance Maharashtra Assembly polls. The BJP had made the allegations which emerged before the day of polling. Sule dismissed them as "lies and fake".
Sule was speaking to reporters, expressing outrage over the circulation of what she called "fake videos and voice notes" which accused her of using bitcoin to fund elections. "Yesterday, I was sent these voice recordings by the media. The first thing I did was inform the Pune Commissioner about the fake videos circulating," said Sule. The NCP MP promptly lodged her complaint to the Cybercrime department arguing that the voice notes were fabricated and were aimed at defaming her.

Sule filed a criminal defamation case in response to the serious allegations, which BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi had hurled against her. She clarified that she is more than ready to address the issue publicly. She said, "I am ready to answer Sudhanshu Trivedi anytime, anywhere, on any platform he chooses, because these allegations are completely false." She underlined that all the claims against her were baseless and could be easily falsified in public.
Sule also filed a complaint with the Election Commission of India, accusing BJP of spreading misinformation to mislead voters in the run-up to the Maharashtra Assembly elections. "Such tactics are familiar to the BJP, and they should not be allowed to manipulate the public with fake information," she said.
Meanwhile, while Supriya Sule rubbished the allegations, her brother and NCP chief Ajit Pawar responded to the audio clips that suggested Sule was involved in bitcoin activities. Pawar revealed that the voice clips are his sister's but reiterated that it doesn't implicate her sister in any illegal act. "I know the voices in the clips. One is my sister's, but that doesn't mean she is involved in any wrongdoing," said Pawar.
Though controversy surrounds her, Supriya Sule remains unrelenting and confident that judicial action will establish her innocence.
