Noida Police Bust Major E-Cigarette Smuggling Ring, Seize ₹8 Lakh in Banned Goods

Noida police have made a significant breakthrough in their crackdown on illegal activities with the arrest of a major trafficker of banned e-cigarettes. The suspect, identified as Riaz Ahmed from Uttarakhand, was apprehended during a routine check in Sector 37.
During the operation, authorities seized a substantial quantity of prohibited e-cigarettes along with a car used in the smuggling operation. The estimated value of the confiscated e-cigarettes on the international market is around ₹8 lakh.
Ahmed, who had been operating for an extended period, was allegedly importing these banned products from abroad and distributing them to students in local colleges. The police action in Sector-39 underscores the ongoing efforts to curb the illegal distribution of such harmful products.
