Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a sharp attack on PM Narendra Modi while addressing a rally in Amravati, Maharashtra, saying his memory seems to be playing tricks on him much like outgoing US President Joe Biden, who was famous for forgetting things during his presidency.
Rahul Gandhi Compares PM Modi to Joe Biden
Rahul Gandhi said that "My sister told me she heard Modi ji's speech, and these days, whatever we say, Modi ji is saying the same thing. I don't know, maybe he has lost his memory." He further made an absurd comparison saying that it was just like Biden, whom he said the former U.S. President used to forget things and had to be reminded from behind. Once, the Ukrainian President visited, and Biden misinterpreted him as Russian President Putin. Similarly, our Prime Minister seems to be losing his memory. Well, the PM himself spoke about reservation. Let's see what he said.
Meanwhile, PM Modi while at a rally in Shivaji Park in Mumbai attacked Congress saying if they are allowed to come into power here in Maharashtra "royal family" would snatch away reservations. He claimed to be a strong votary of reservations, with a pledge to safeguard reservations from being snatched away.

Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge reacted over the statements of the Prime Minister, saying: In response to PM Modi's remarks, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge said reservations were the vision of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Modi has nothing to do with it. Kharge speaking to ANI while quoting above said, "No one can abolish reservations. It was initiated by Baba Saheb Ambedkar, and we will never allow it to get abolished. PM Modi claims he is the savior of reservations, but we know their intention. Coming at this stage, ongoing political discussion throws up the intensifying war of words between the Congress and BJP as elections start to draw near.
