St. Mary’s Convent High School Kanpur Holds Grand Investiture Ceremony 2025

Kanpur, Mary’s Convent High School, Kanpur, celebrated its grand Investiture Ceremony on 14th July 2025 with great enthusiasm and solemnity, marking a new chapter of student leadership for the academic year.

The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a soulful prayer service prepared by the students of Class X. The spiritual ambiance set the tone for the day, emphasizing the values of responsibility and service.

A thought-provoking skit themed around “VIBGYOR” — representing the colors of the rainbow — was performed by the students, symbolizing the qualities that define strong and diverse leadership such as courage, empathy, creativity, discipline, and integrity.

The highlight of the event was the march past by the newly elected student council. As the council members ascended the stage, they were honored with sashes and badges, taking a solemn oath in front of the ceremonial lamp. Their commitment to upholding the school's values and leading with integrity was evident.

The audience was then addressed by Sister Marian, who emphasized the importance of student leadership and character. Head Girl Samriddhi Tiwari also delivered a heartfelt speech, encouraging her peers to lead with dedication and compassion.

The ceremony concluded on a high note as students proudly sang the school anthem in unison, symbolizing unity, pride, and a shared vision for the future.
