Suspicious Death of Telangana Student: Family Accuses Hostel Authorities of foul play, Requests Answers

Hyderabad: A 17-year-old student of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) at Telangana's Nirmal district was found dead in her hostel room on Monday. The girl, a second-year Pre-University Course student, was discovered hanging by her roommates in her room on the Basar campus.
Preliminary police investigations indicate that the student may have died by suicide due to "family issues". Police said a purported suicide note is said to have been found at the scene, allegedly written by the girl for her parents and brother. She was a resident of Nizamabad district, police said.
But serious allegations have been made to this incident by the girl's family as it reportedly is the case of some involvement of the hostel staff into her death. They have also been raising questions about the fact that without intimating them about the postmortem, her body was taken and examined, and also questioned why they were not let see her before her postmortem was conducted. They were also not shown the suicide note, which has deepened their doubts regarding the genuineness of her suicide.
The police have maintained their quest to find out the circumstances surrounding the incidence.
