Who is Gurfan Khan Alias Mohammed Tayyab? Noida Youth Arrested for Threatening Salman Khan, Zeeshan Siddique

A 20-year-old man, Gurfan Khan alias Mohammed Tayyab, was arrested from Noida on Tuesday morning for allegedly issuing death threats to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and former Maharashtra minister Zeeshan Siddique. The arrest followed a complaint from Siddique's public relations office in Bandra East after receiving a threatening call on Friday. Reports state that the suspect demanded money while issuing threats against Siddique and Khan. Though he did not claim any financial motive, the officials suspect that he wanted to extort money by threatening. A case has already been filed at the Nirmalnagar Police Station against unidentified persons, which later turned out to be Gurfan Khan's.

Noida Youth Arrested, Threatens Salman Khan & Zeeshan Siddique

Gurfan Khan, a resident of Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, was traced by Mumbai Police in Sector 39 of Noida. According to reports, the threats were given over WhatsApp calls, a mode through which anonymity is easily maintained. The officials suspect that Khan might be in contact with the notorious Bishnoi gang, who targeted Salman Khan on the basis of his alleged involvement in the blackbuck poaching case. The Bishnoi community considers blackbucks to be sacred, and after the incident, Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang have been continuously threatening Salman Khan too, mainly after NCP leader Baba Siddique was murdered in Bandra East, Mumbai, on October 12.
Just days after the murder, another gangster claimed to be from the Bishnoi gang and gave a stern warning to Salman Khan's associates. In the meanwhile, Zeeshan Siddique was initiated into the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on October 25, 2023, and announced as the NCP candidate for the Bandra East Constituency in the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly Elections.

Again, the arrest of Gurfan Khan raises security concerns in the Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddique affairs. Both are targeted since they have been involved due to political and criminal undercurrents. The situation is highlighted by the fact that public figures remain targeted by high-profile gangs for quite some time.
