Shrimali started her career as a DCP in Ahmedabad before taking on more challenging assignments. She served as the SP of Dang district, a tribal-dominated area, and is currently the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) at Sabarmati Central Jail, where Lawrence Bishnoi is incarcerated.
