Noida: One Injured and Another Missing After Building Collapse in Bahalolpur, Rescue Operations Underway

Noida: There has been a major mishap at Noida's Bahalolpur village, where a building has collapsed and panic gripped the whole locality. The incident took place when the foundation excavation work was underway near the building. The single-storeyed building fell with the workers who were present at the location and near the place of a salon shop.

Another two persons have also been injured in the incident and have been admitted to a local hospital for treatment. However, one young man is still missing and rescue operations are actively underway for tracing him. The local authorities of Sector 63 police station have started an investigation into the causes of the collapse.

The collapse raises very serious questions regarding the standards of safety in work-related construction in the district. The authorities must undertake a detailed inquiry to find out whether there was negligence on the part of the people who constructed it.
