Noida Police Arrest Four Members of 'Looteri Dulhan' Gang, Woman Fleeing with Jewelry After Marriages

In a major crackdown, the Central Noida police have arrested four members of the notorious gang "Looteri Dulhan". The gang enticed unsuspecting men with fake marriages and after wedding, the bride used to flee off with jewelry and valuables. Four members of the gang are arrested - Pradeep, Aamir, Santosh, and Malti, and Aamir's wife Anam is on the run.
Modus Operandi
The gang targeted vulnerable men unable to find marriage prospects. Santosh, one of the members, contacted the groom and negotiated the deal for amounts ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹2 lakh. The gang introduced women from their group as brides, conducted fake ceremonies, and split the money. After the wedding, the bride would take the wedding jewelry and escape, with the help of gang members.
Police Investigation and Arrest
The police started the investigation after receiving a complaint from a victim's family. Through surveillance and prompt action, they rescued a targeted woman and arrested four key members of the gang. The mastermind, Pradeep, and Aamir have been involved in similar crimes by executing over a dozen scams.
