Traffic Jam: Noida Authority plans to widen the bridge over Film City and has begun road expansion in front of Film City to reduce traffic congestion in the area.

Traffic congestion on the DND Flyway and at Noida Film City is to improve soon as the Noida Authority finalizes major overhauls on two key stretches. Changes on these two stretches will provide relief to millions of people who commute daily between Delhi and Noida. The persistent problem for local residents and visitors from Delhi has been traffic congestion caused by the DND stretch from Delhi to Noida and Greater Noida. The Noida Authority appointed a consultancy firm to study the area and provide them with workable recommendations. 

Traffic Jam Relief, Easing Congestion with Key Improvements

The consultancy firm report enumerated the problem of peak-hour traffic and recommendations for resolving the jams. The Noida Authority has initiated the proposed changes within four months of the report completion.
Widening of the Road at Film City by 300 Meters 

The principal road in front of the Film City is being widened for 300 meters, where bottlenecks often occur here. This work is already under progress and will be completed; Power poles have been shifted along that route which will mean foortpath reduction and expansion of roads
Loop road to Greater Noida Expressway 

It will enhance the width of the loop road that links DND Flyway with Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. There have been bottlenecks on this loop as a large portion of the vehicles coming from Delhi towards Greater Noida Expressway get choked up on it due to a lesser width of the road. It would make more space for all the merging vehicles onto the expressway.

These updates are going to create lasting relief for commuters, enhancing connectivity between Delhi, Noida, and Greater Noida. Such infrastructure development is expected to make daily commuting smoother and more efficient for all travelers in the region.
