Aryaman Birla: A 22-Year-Old Cricketer Who Is Richer Than Sachin, Dhoni, and Kohli, Here's Why He Retires Early!

Aryaman Birla: Young Indian cricketer, Aryaman Birla has managed to overtop cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli when it comes to his net worth despite hardly having much presence in the cricket ground. While these cricket icons accumulated their wealth through on-field achievements and brand endorsements, the majority of Aryaman's wealth comes from his association with the Aditya Birla Group, one of India's largest conglomerates. With an estimated net worth of ₹70,000 crore, Aryaman's journey is a unique one — he retired early, taking an indefinite break from cricket in 2019 due to mental health challenges and focusing instead on building his business empire.

Born in Mumbai in 1997, Aryaman played his first game for Madhya Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy in 2017. Here, his cricketing abilities came into the limelight. He scored a great century at Eden Gardens in 2018 and went on to play for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL soon after. However, he was forced to retire due to injuries and mental health issues. In his Instagram post in 2019, Aryaman spoke about giving more importance to his well-being over professional cricket.

Now at 27, Aryaman has cut out an excellent career in business, leading important positions in Aditya Birla Group and other related firms. Though his retirement was at a pretty young age, the decision by Aryaman to quit cricket for mental peace made him one of the richest people in cricketing history with a mind on his family legacy.

While cricket greats like Sachin (net worth $170 million), Dhoni ($111 million), and Kohli ($92 million) remain icons for their contribution to the game, there is Aryaman Birla's journey with its balance of passion and legacy and sometimes stepping away from the limelight leads one further ahead.
