Swapnil Kusale, who qualified for the 2024 Olympics after a final selection trial held in Bhopal on May 17, 2024, comes from a farmer family, born in 1995. His journey in the competition was marked by a slow start but a remarkable finish.

Kusale began the kneeling position with a modest score of 153.3, scoring 50.8, 50.9, and 51.6 in the first, second, and third series respectively, placing him in sixth position.
