Samson Hits 5 Consecutive Sixes, Sets New Milestones

During his innings, Samson attacked Bangladeshi spinner Rishad Hossain, hitting 5 consecutive sixes in the 10th over. This came after completing his half-century in just 22 balls, the fastest T20 fifty by an Indian against Bangladesh. His aggressive play left the Bangladeshi players and coaches struggling to respond. Samson’s century was marked by a total of 11 fours and 8 sixes.

Record-Breaking Partnership and Century

Samson’s stunning knock of 111 runs off 46 balls included an impressive 173-run partnership with captain Suryakumar Yadav for the second wicket. With this century, Sanju became the first Indian to score a T20 International century against Bangladesh. He now holds the record for the second-fastest T20I century for India, just behind Rohit Sharma’s 35-ball century. This incredible performance has solidified Samson's position as a key player in the Indian T20 lineup.
