SRH's wishlist for IPL 2025 Mega Auction: 5 Players to Target for a Winning Squad

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will have only INR 45 crore to spend on the squad for the IPL 2025 mega auction. It has retained core players Heinrich Klaasen, Pat Cummins, and Abhishek Sharma, among others, to look for some of the best performance-based players on its spree, mainly looking forward to bolstering the bowling line up. While they do want to enhance their spin attack, a small purse may prove to be a constraint. However SRH can plan selective buys to make their team robust for the 2025 season.

1. Krunal Pandya:

Krunal Pandya, a three-time IPL winner with Mumbai Indians, provides excellent value as both a bowler and a batsman. He can contribute with the ball during middle overs and make finishes at the lower order, which will be handy for SRH, mostly since it is emphasizing Indian players.

2. Yuzvendra Chahal: 

Yuzvendra Chahal is an experienced 34-year-old spinner and has been consistent in the IPL, taking 66 wickets in the last three seasons. He can be targeted by SRH to strengthen their spin arsenal as he has much experience and skill in controlling the run flow and picking up important wickets.

3. Mohammed Siraj:

The other important candidate for SRH would be Mohammed Siraj, released by Royal Challengers Bangalore. The reason behind this pick would be because he could be a great bowler for the top over of the innings and bring those crucial breakthroughs for the side. Owing to some ups and downs in his career graph so far, Siraj's potential to shine before his home crowd can't be undermined.

4. Avesh Khan:

Avesh Khan is a very good death-over bowler and has played for a lot of the IPL franchises. Hitherto, his ability to bowl in the final overs and pick up wickets under pressure might make him a value pick for SRH in IPL 2025. If SRH can get him within their budget, then he definitely is going to become a key part of their bowling attack.

5. Allah Ghazanfar:

One of the most promising prospects in world cricket is Afghanistan spinner Allah Ghazanfar, an 18-year-old. This youngster had turned out a six-wicket haul against Bangladesh to make a telling impact on international cricket. SRH might strike it rich with this young mystery spinner, following their success with Rashid Khan.
