Bettiah: In a bizarre incident from Bettiah, Bihar, a family brought a black cobra to the hospital, claiming it had bitten a woman. Kishori Devi, a resident of Dhokerha in Majholia, was bitten twice by a black cobra late at night. Her condition quickly deteriorated, prompting her family to rush her to the GMCH hospital for treatment.

As doctors began treating the woman, chaos erupted in the hospital. The woman's family arrived with the black cobra that had bitten her. Seeing the snake caused panic among other patients, their relatives, and the medical staff. People started running in all directions upon seeing the cobra in the family's hands.

Doctors had to intervene and calm the situation. They called the forest department team to the hospital to handle the snake. Eventually, the forest department took custody of the cobra.

The woman's husband, Devsharan, explained that the snake had bitten his wife while she was sleeping. After admitting her to the hospital, he and his family caught the snake hiding in their house and brought it to the hospital to show the doctors. He wanted to confirm that it was indeed the snake responsible for the bites. The husband wandered around the hospital with the snake in a box until the forest department arrived and took it away.
