The most bizarre incident of schoolgirls fighting on the street, over a boyfriend has recently caught the public eye, after the altercation started over a boyfriend in Sikandarpur police station area on Balughat Road in Muzaffarpur, Bihar.

Video from the scene of incident, which is widely seen and shared, shocked everyone here in the town. And they are now questioning - What sparked the clash between them?
The fight reportedly began over a dispute involving a boyfriend. The girls, belonging to two rival groups from a well-known government school in Banaras Bank Chowk, engaged in heated arguments that soon turned into a physical altercation. One group was from a high school, while the other belonged to a middle school.

At school hours, a minor brawl turned into a scuffle at the crossroads. The girls again resumed the fight on Nala Road before they shifted to Balughat Road, and there, they lost temper completely.

What the Viral Video Shows

The video, shot by a local resident from atop a rooftop, captures scenes of girls pulling each other's hair, hurling abuses, and punching vehemently on the street. In the incident, several bystanders watched in shock. It left several girls with slight injuries. One girl's mother and brother, sources said, tried to intervene, but they were drawn into the fight against the group of girls from the school.

Police Reaction

Sikandarpur in-charge of the police station, Raman Raj, said that no written complaint has been lodged as yet. The police have to wait for a complaint to initiate an investigation over the issue.

Public Reaction

The video has set off a mixed reaction online where people have expressed concern regarding the aggression among the youngsters. The locals have demanded quick action by the authorities on the matter so that nothing like this happens again.
