Bollywood Stars Participate in Maharashtra Elections: Akshay Kumar, Kartik Aaryan, Farhan Akhtar Cast Their Votes

As the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 unfold, several Bollywood stars have joined the democratic process by casting their votes. Celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Kartik Aaryan, Farhan Akhtar, Hema Malini, and many others stepped out to fulfill their civic duty in Mumbai, encouraging fellow citizens to do the same.

Akshay Kumar, a prominent Bollywood actor, made sure to vote early and urged all Mumbaikars to do their part in the elections. After casting his vote, Kumar interacted with the media and stressed the importance of every citizen's participation in the democratic process. Similarly, Kartik Aaryan, who is riding high on the success of his latest film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, was seen voting in Mumbai on Wednesday morning, showing his support for the electoral process.

Farhan Akhtar and his wife, Adhuna Bhabani, also cast their votes, with Akhtar encouraging everyone to exercise their right to vote. Veteran actress and politician Hema Malini, alongside her daughter Esha Deol, shared a similar message, urging citizens to step out and make their voices heard in the elections. Esha Deol echoed her mother’s call for responsible voting, highlighting its importance in shaping the state’s future.

Other Bollywood personalities including Aamir Khan’s mother Zeenat Hussain, who voted from her wheelchair, and veteran actor Prem Chopra, who cast his vote early in the morning, also made headlines for their active participation. Actress Rakul Preet Singh, her husband Jackky Bhagnani, lyricist Gulzar, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, and actor Suniel Shetty, among others, were spotted at various polling booths in Mumbai on election day.
