Josh Williams, a 26-year-old Customer Service Administrator, was fired from his job for Googling bizarre terms like ‘Turkey teeth’ and ‘Simon Cowell’s botched Botox’ on his office computer. According to reports, Williams spent hours browsing personal content during work hours and frequently took sick days. After just three months on the job, his employer terminated him for misusing company time.

Williams admitted that frustration over insufficient work led him to search for random things. Following his dismissal, he created a viral TikTok video explaining the situation. However, the backlash from the video cost him future job opportunities, with potential employers rejecting him, citing misaligned values. 

The viral video earned him around £450 (Rs 50,000), which helped cover rent, but Williams regrets not deleting it sooner. Despite the financial gain, the viral attention left him feeling embarrassed and ashamed.

Now working as a supply chain coordinator in the food industry, Williams is not happy with his new career. He revealed that he changed jobs to avoid being recognized in future interviews due to his viral TikTok video. Williams continues to deal with the consequences of his online actions.
