Vlogger’s Viral Reel Captures Delhi’s Charm

At the onset of the video, Sean says how people used to doubt him when he told them about his planned visit to Delhi. Despite his stern warnings, he still found himself getting attracted to the city. His footage captures the streets of the city-full of life and colors-and the flavors of their food, which leave excellent taste in the mouth. He shares his appreciation for Indian hospitality, explaining how strangers took him to their homes, introduced him to their families and friends, and did not expect anything back.

Sean wandered through the city and found some of the more historic landmarks there: Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, and Akshardham Temple. What overwhelmed him the most is the intricate architecture with Akshardham. He marveled at the place, referring to something he had never laid his eyes on before; details just astonishing. In his words, he said how much he really liked it: "The architecture on display here is incredible! I truly do not think I have ever seen anything like Akshardham in my life. To such an extent, the attention to detail is unrivaled."
According to Sean, Delhi is a familiar and comfortable place for him. He must have been to Delhi multiple times. While talking with Sean, it was gathered that in contrast to the prevalent beliefs, the city does not present much difficulty to navigate. Admitting that Delhi is known for its horrible pollution and at times, chaos, Sean says these are part of the city's character-beauty elements that make it unique. "It's true that there's a lot of pollution and that it's a bit chaotic. But nowhere is perfect, and to be honest, I love the chaos—it's where I thrive!

He shares, The Reel that Sean put up has gained thousands of views, with audiences responding in great numbers. His experience has triggered a debate and opinions over people's view of Delhi. One commentator was of the opinion that an experience such as this is so utterly outside of your culture can actually add value to the experience. She then went on to make a point that travel experiences are different even across genders, and, for instance, solo traveling in Delhi might be not particularly safe for women-especially those of color.
