Husband Arrested for Brutally Beating Wife to Death in Barwani

Barwani: In a tragic incident, a woman named Dulibai from Badhpura, in the Pansemal police station area, was brutally beaten by her husband, Govind, for not preparing food. The attack, carried out with an iron trident, resulted in severe injuries to Dulibai, leading to her death during treatment at the district hospital.

The Incident

The violent incident occurred when Govind, enraged over his wife Dulibai not cooking, assaulted her with an iron trident. Dulibai sustained serious injuries and was initially admitted to the Pansemal Health Center. Due to the severity of her condition, she was later transferred to the district hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

Police Action

Following the assault, the police initially registered a case of physical assault and other related charges. After Dulibai's death, the charges were upgraded to murder. The police launched a manhunt for Govind, the accused husband. Today, the police successfully apprehended Govind, son of Raju Pawar, and seized the iron trident used in the crime.
