Pokharni, MP: A two-year-old child playing in the courtyard of his home was attacked by a stray dog, causing serious injuries. The incident occurred in the village of Pokharni, under Timarni Tehsil.
The child, named Ansh, was playing in the courtyard and was on his way to another part of the house when a stray dog suddenly attacked him. Hearing Ansh's cries, his grandmother rushed out to help. Ansh sustained a deep wound on his head, requiring twelve stitches. He was immediately taken to the district hospital for treatment. Manish Damade, Ansh’s father, recounted the frightening incident and expressed relief that his son was now receiving medical care.
The incident has raised concerns in the village about the increasing number of stray dogs and their potential danger. Residents are urging local authorities to take necessary actions to control the stray dog population and ensure the safety of the community.
The swift action of neighbors and the timely medical intervention has been crucial in saving young Ansh. However, the incident serves as a stark reminder of the potential dangers posed by stray animals, especially during certain times of the year.
