A video from Uttar Pradesh's Mankapur railway station has gone viral, showing frustrated passengers damaging a train after being unable to board. The incident occurred when the 15101 Antyodaya Express, traveling from Chhapra to Mumbai, stopped at the station but the coach doors failed to open.

Passengers Turn Violent

As the doors did not budge, a huge crowd of passengers waiting to board the train became restless. Some of them started hurling stones, breaking the windows, while others tried to break the doors with iron rods. The ruckus caused panic among passengers already inside the train who lay on the floor in fear of getting hurt.


The authorities step in

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) have been informed about the incident. GRP officials from Gorakhpur have started investigating and have asked the Mankapur and Basti police to take necessary action.
