Samajwadi Party Announces Candidates for Six Seats in UP By-elections, Claims Victory Ahead

Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party (SP) has officially announced its candidates for six out of ten assembly seats in the upcoming by-elections in Uttar Pradesh, including the notable constituency of Phoolpur. SP State General Secretary and former minister Lallan Rai confidently asserted that the party will secure victories in all the announced seats.

Rai mentioned that the remaining candidates for the other seats would be announced soon. When asked about the possibility of seat-sharing with the Congress party under an alliance, he stated that such decisions would be determined by the party's top leadership.

In response to Congress's significant defeat in the recent Haryana assembly elections, Rai commented that had Congress collaborated with the Samajwadi Party in Haryana, the results might have been different.

The SP's strategic candidate selections aim to bolster its position in Uttar Pradesh as the party gears up for the electoral battle ahead. The political landscape in the state will be closely watched as the by-elections draw near.
