But a moment of bittersweet glory was to follow when one of his sixes injured a girl in the audience, bringing unwanted attention on and off the field.

Samson's Six Injures a Fan
There, during the 10th over, Samson smashed a six off Tristan Stubbs for reaching his half-century. On the very next delivery, he went for another big hit and cleared the boundary. Unfortunately, the ball struck a girl in the crowd on her cheek after bouncing. She winced in pain.

Pictures of the injured fan crying were seen spreading in all the social media platforms like wildfire, causing humongous reactions, while the fan was seen icing her face on the ground.
Samson was visibly concerned when the incident was brought to his attention on the field.
She was soon trending on social media after her injury. Fans began calling on Samson to donate a signatory bat to her as a gesture of goodwill. Other fans joked that she would not notice what is happening due to her phone during the live match, asking her to be keen.
