Shocking: Aligarh Mill Found Mixing Stone Powder in Branded Flour

Aligarh: In a shocking discovery that raises serious health concerns, the Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA) team raided a flour mill in Aligarh and found that stone powder was being mixed with flour. The raid led to the seizure of over 400 kilograms of stone powder from the premises.
Operation Details and Findings
Ajay Jaiswal, Assistant Commissioner of FSDA, revealed, "Based on information received by senior district officials, we raided a flour mill operating under the brand name Panchvati Flour in the industrial area of Aligarh. During the raid, we seized more than 400 kilograms of a stone powder known as 'selkhadi'."
Caught in the Act
The raid took place on Thursday, and during the operation, mill employees were caught red-handed mixing stone powder into flour bags. Jaiswal stated, "During the raid, employees were found mixing the powder into the flour bags. We are now working on taking further action against the owner of this factory."
Efforts to Recall Contaminated Stock
In response to this alarming discovery, authorities are launching a campaign to recall the entire stock of this contaminated flour from the market to ensure consumer safety.
