Spider Found Inside Samosa in Ghaziabad: Customer Shares Video, Says "Could’ve Been Dangerous if Eaten"
A bizarre incident from Ghaziabad has come to light where a dead spider was found inside a samosa, leaving the customer horrified. The customer, who recorded a video of the incident, has shared it on social media, calling for strict action against the shop owner. This isn't the first such case in the area; a similar incident involving a frog's leg inside a samosa had been reported earlier.
Details of the Incident
Yash Arora, the customer involved, narrated the shocking event. On Sunday evening, he visited Shri Dhara Dairy in Rajnagar Extension and bought a samosa. As he was eating it, he noticed a dead spider stuck to a piece of potato inside the samosa. Horrified, he immediately showed the samosa to the shopkeeper and recorded a video as evidence.

Yash stated, "Luckily, I spotted the spider before taking a bite. If I hadn't seen it and eaten it, who knows what would have happened. Strict action should be taken against such shopkeepers."
Past Incidents of Contaminated Food
This isn’t an isolated incident. Just 25 days earlier, a frog's leg was found inside a samosa in Ghaziabad. Aman Sharma, a resident of Nyay Khand-1, discovered the frog’s leg after purchasing samosas with his friends. The discovery led to a significant uproar.
In another case, 10 months ago in Pilkhuwa, Hapur, a lizard was found inside a samosa. Mahendra, a resident of Arya Nagar, mentioned that his son had purchased five samosas from a local sweets shop. Upon opening one to eat, they found a lizard inside. His daughter, Radhika, fell ill after eating the contaminated samosa.
Other Contaminated Food Cases
Ghaziabad isn’t the only area where such incidents have occurred. In Noida, a centipede was found on the lid of an ice cream tub. Four months ago, Deepa, a resident of Sector 12, ordered ice cream from Blinkit. After discovering the centipede, she lodged a complaint with the company, which promptly refunded her money.
Similarly, in Greater Noida, a cockroach was found inside cut fruits and pomegranates at a juice shop. A customer recorded a video of the cockroach inside the glass, and a case was filed against the shopkeeper.
These incidents highlight serious concerns over food safety and hygiene, prompting calls for stricter inspections and regulations.
