UP News: Two Teenagers Listening to Music with Earphones Die After Being Hit by Train

Two teenagers, who were listening to music with earphones while sitting on railway tracks, were fatally struck by a train, police reported on Monday.

Deendayal Pandey, the SHO of Kotwali police station, identified the victims as Sameer (15) and Zakir Ahmed (16), both residents of Rajdepur.

The tragic incident occurred on Sunday evening. According to Pandey, the boys were seated on the railway line, engrossed in their music, and failed to hear the train's horn as it approached. Consequently, they were hit by the train and died instantly.

Their bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing, Pandey added.
