Sambhal Clashes: Bullet Injures CO, Commissioner Alleges Advance Planning of Violence

In Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, violence erupted during the ASI survey of Jama Masjid, resulting in the deaths of three locals—Ruman Khan (42), Bilal (30), and Naeem (25). The injured included over 25 police personnel, with the SDM sustaining leg injuries and bullets hitting CO Anuj Chaudhary and SP's PRO. Officials stated that the violence seemed pre-planned, involving rooftop firing from nearby houses, which injured several officers. The deceased did not die from police fire, as the police used plastic bullets during the incident.
