COVID-19 Leak: Chinese Lab Linked to Virus Outbreak, US Said to Be Part of the Conspiracy
COVID-19 Leak: There has never been a time more horrible and tragic than when COVID-19 wreaked havoc throughout the world in 2020. Many lives were lost during that period, with a high proportion of families mourning their death as well. The first ever confirmed case of COVID-19 originated in China, hence to-date accusation had been made of how this coronavirus spread to all other nations. A fresh new report was brought to light this past day reiterating accusations from its origin country, China for virus outbreak.
What Does the Report Say?
A new report from Congress, comprising 520 pages, claims the COVID-19 virus has leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China. The report discloses secret investigations by the Department of Justice tracing the origins of the virus. It finds that researchers working in the lab were already infected with viruses close to COVID-19. Moreover, it also states that both the Chinese government and U.S. government agencies were involved in covering up vital information regarding the origin of the virus.
Accusations Against the U.S.
Accusations have targeted EcoHealth Alliance, one organization significantly involved at the outset of the pandemic in researching bat coronaviruses in the Wuhan lab. Researches were held on whether or not it had leaked the virus, through funding that came from the government of the United States to carry out their work in the laboratory. In short, this means that if the virus really started from nature, the reports would have come to our notice much earlier; else, it would come directly from a lab.
When did the pandemic of COVID-19 erupt?
The first COVID-19 case reported in Wuhan, China occurred in December 2019. The virus rapidly spread worldwide, and India marked the first case on January 30, 2020. After that, most of the world's countries shut their gates, placing it under lockdown. It has been reported that more than 47 lakh, i.e., 4.7 million people in India, died due to this disease as reported by BBC.
