In a devastating incident in Thailand, a school bus carrying 44 children caught fire, resulting in the tragic loss of 25 students.

Fatal Fire:

The incident occurred around 12:30 PM local time on Fahon Yothin Road, near the Rangsit shopping mall, during an educational trip organized by Wat Khao Pra Yarang School.

Ongoing Investigation:

The exact cause of the fire remains unknown. Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul stated that authorities have yet to confirm the death toll, as the investigation is still ongoing.

Rescue Efforts:

Eyewitnesses reported that many students succumbed to the flames while rescue personnel were trying to extinguish the fire. A video circulating on social media shows the bus engulfed in flames with thick black smoke billowing from it.

Preliminary Findings:

Rescue workers suggested that a tire blowout may have caused the bus to collide with a roadside barrier, igniting the fire. The ages of the deceased students have not yet been disclosed, leaving families and communities in shock.
