Maruti Suzuki XL7: Maruti Suzuki is one of the most trusted and renowned car manufacturers in India. Known for producing some of the most affordable cars in the market, Maruti has also gained recognition for offering the cheapest seven-seater cars. However, if you're in the market for a more premium 7-seater, the company is all set to launch the new-generation Maruti Suzuki XL7 in India soon. This upcoming model is expected to come packed with ultra-luxury features and robust performance capabilities.

Engine and Mileage of Maruti Suzuki XL7

The Maruti Suzuki XL7 will be powered by a 1.5-liter K15B petrol engine, which is capable of producing 105 Bhp of power and 138 Nm of torque. Additionally, the vehicle will be equipped with mild hybrid technology, which promises to improve fuel efficiency compared to regular petrol variants.

For transmission, the XL7 will offer both a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic gearbox. The company has also revealed that the vehicle will feature idle start-stop technology, which enhances fuel efficiency. Maruti Suzuki claims that the XL7 will offer an impressive mileage of approximately 27 kmpl.

Features and Safety

The Maruti Suzuki XL7 will boast a range of advanced features. It will include a large touchscreen infotainment system with digital instrument cluster, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Other notable features include dual-zone climate control, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, an electronic sunroof, ambient lighting, wireless charging, wireless connectivity technology, and a premium leather seat finish for a luxurious interior. The audio system will also be upgraded to offer a premium listening experience.

In terms of safety, the XL7 will be equipped with multiple airbags, electronic stability control, a tire pressure monitoring system, a reverse parking sensor with a camera, ABS with EBD, and a seatbelt reminder for all passengers, ensuring a safe driving experience.

Design

The design of the new-generation Maruti Suzuki XL7 will have similarities with the current XL6 model but with several upgrades. The front will feature a new LED headlight setup and LED DRLs, along with a redesigned bumper. The side profile will include newly designed alloy wheels, side steps, and roof rails, enhancing its bold look. At the rear, the vehicle will sport a new connected LED tail light setup, a revised bumper, and a silver skid plate. Overall, the road presence of the XL7 is expected to be more premium and striking.

Price

The Maruti Suzuki XL7 is anticipated to be priced between ₹12 lakh and ₹13 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The launch is expected sometime in 2025, making it a highly awaited addition to the Indian automotive market.
