Delhi Metro to Add Extra Trips During Festive Season to Ease Traffic and Pollution
In a special move to help Delhiites navigate the busy festive season, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced that it will run extra metro trips during Diwali and the upcoming Chhath Puja. As the capital city gears up for celebrations, the increased metro services aim to reduce road congestion and combat rising pollution levels.
With the city’s roads often packed with vehicles during the festive period, especially during peak office hours, DMRC has urged the public to use public transport more frequently. The additional metro trips will help alleviate the heavy traffic on Delhi’s roads and provide commuters with a smoother and faster travel experience.
