Delhi Traffic Advisory Alert! Roads to be Shut for 3 Days

Delhi Traffic Advisory: Radha Swami Satsang Beas Samagam: Event venue: Bhatti Mines area near Mehrauli, Delhi Date: 26-28 October. 5 lakh attendees expected, says Delhi Police. The Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory for these three days, asking residents and visitors to avoid traveling on the roads listed below.

In view of Radha Swami Satsang Beas religious congregation to be held at Radha Swami Satsang Complex, Bhati Mines, Chhattar Pur, Mehrauli, New Delhi from 25.10.2024 to 27.10.2024, traffic regulations will be effective.

The advisory states that traffic will be diverted around Mehrauli from 4 AM to 6 PM during the three-day event. Bhatti Mines Road is the access route to the Samagam venue, which has dedicated parking within the venue. As such, Bhatti Mines Road will be closed to general public traffic. Those coming in from Gurugram and Faridabad sides can reach the venue through Dera Road.

Bhatti Mines Road, Bandh Road, Chhatarpur Road, and SSN Road will take the full brunt of heavy to medium vehicle traffic. There are alternative routes for the emergency vehicles: Dera Road, Mandi Road, and MG Road. Delhi Police appeals to the public to prepare alternative routes for those who wish to pass through but refrain from using the roads listed above to minimize inconvenience and facilitate smooth flow. All the roads have been declared no obstruction zones for emergency vehicles such as ambulances, fire brigades, and police vehicles.
