The media company claims it fulfilled all contractual obligations, including creative and marketing efforts, only to be left waiting for compensation. After months of unfulfilled promises, the company decided to pursue legal action to recover the dues.

Baawla, released three years ago on Badshah’s YouTube channel, features the rapper alongside Samreen Kaur and Amit Uchana. The track has become a major success, amassing over 151 million views on YouTube.

The song’s female vocals were provided by Nirmala and Shakuntala, while Badshah collaborated with Aditya Dev for the music. The lyrics, penned by Badshah himself, further showcase his creative input.

Despite the song's popularity, the media company argues that its marketing efforts were instrumental in Baawla’s success. They claim to have invested heavily in promotional strategies that not only elevated the song but also enhanced Badshah’s brand image and goodwill.
