Diwali night Noida Heist Turns into Fiery Shootout: Robbery suspects apprehended with stolen cash and arms!

Noida: On Diwali night, Sector-24 police in Noida finally caught the robbery and shooting incident duo with a fierce shootout. The suspected duo who had allegedly snatched a cash sum and a mobile phone tried a firing on a bystander. They are being treated in the hospital as they were arrested with injuries. Recovery includes the stolen mobile phone, ₹4,700 in cash, and one illegal firearm from the recovered crime duo.

Two accused were apprehended today morning when Sector-24 police nabbed them on a motorcycle near Sector-54 T-Point, wherein they were trying to flee from the scene. The two allegedly opened fire at the policemen when they were trying to escape on the motorcycle following losing control and falling on the road. Both suffered gunshot wounds in their legs, but were taken into custody without any further incident.

Robbery Details

During interrogation, they admitted to having snatched a man near the Hoshiarpur Red Light two days back. According to their confession, they had picked up an inebriated man and snatched his Vivo mobile phone and ₹5,000 cash. He was resisting when one of them fired at him. The accused spent ₹300 from the snatched cash on personal expenditure.

Recovered Items and Further Investigation
The police have confiscated a Vivo mobile phone, ₹4,700 in cash, an illegal firearm, and a Splendor motorcycle. Further investigations are being conducted. The suspects are under medical treatment for their injuries. Investigations are also being carried out about the possible connection with other crimes in the locality.
