Tragedy on Greater Noida Expressway: 5 Dead in Ghastly Car Accident Involving Jammed Truck

GREATER NOIDA, India — Five people died, including three women, in an accident on the Greater Noida Expressway on Tuesday when a car headed towards Pari Chowk from Noida clashed with a stationary truck on whose rear back portion had got broken. The accident was so severe that it left the car mangled and trapped the people inside.
Rescue operation is under way:
News of the accident created shock waves in the community. Locals and police alike rushed to the scene to play part in the rescue operation. Much as numerous efforts were made to free the victims, all five bodies were pronounced dead at the accident scene. The bodies were retrieved from the wreckage and taken to the local mortuary for post-mortem examination.
