IND vs PAK: India’s 2025 Champions Trophy Matches Shifted to Dubai

According to sources, India may be made to play all its games of the Champions Trophy in Dubai, although nothing as yet confirmed from any quarter. India's Board of Control for Cricket in India has cited security reasons. According to Indian Express, BCCI has communicated its security concerns to PCB while holding talks. This comes after India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar paid a visit to Pakistan, generating wide speculation over team participation. The recent development apparently puts India on solid ground as it appears to be a jolt to Pakistan. It has been reported that PCB managed to bring all the efforts before BCCI so that they allow Team India play in Pakistan. They even proposed the idea to make offer to India that if India play its dates in Pakistan then they leave for India immediately. BCCI declined their offer because it would compromise the safety of those players. It will be a blow for Pakistan because it might have a financial impact upon PCB. Pakistan had upgraded its stadiums considerably, which were part of preparations before the Champions Trophy. Funding and support were given by the ICC to the board.
