Ahmedabad: 'Ma'am Help Kar Do'...Woman Accuses Zomato Delivery Agent Of Flashing Genitals, Company Takes Action
In her post, the woman recounted that the Zomato delivery partner exposed his genitals to her when she went to collect her order.

Ahmedabad: Zomato has terminated a delivery agent after he allegedly exposed himself to a customer during a late-night delivery in Ahmedabad. The incident came to light when the customer shared her disturbing experience on social media, which quickly went viral.
In her post, the woman recounted that the Zomato delivery partner exposed his genitals to her when she went to collect her order.
The incident occurred on the night of August 28, when the woman, who prefers to remain anonymous, ordered a coffee via Zomato around midnight. According to her Instagram Story, the delivery agent arrived "15-30 minutes late."
At 12:48 am, she received a call from the Zomato delivery agent and went outside to collect her order. "The partner was apologizing constantly about the delay while smiling; it felt uncomfortable, but I let that slide because I felt I was paranoid due to everything going on in the country," she wrote.
The delivery executive then pointed to his foot, claiming he was injured. Despite feeling uneasy, the woman used her flashlight to inspect the injury and realized the situation was a ruse to harass her.
"Out of reflex, I pointed my flashlight at his feet. It was very dumb of me to be curious about that injury, but I pointed the flashlight and saw that his genitals were out of his pants, and he was smiling like a creep," she described in her post.
She further stated that the delivery partner laughed while exposing himself and mockingly said, "please help kardo (please help me)" as he continued to harass her.
Zomato's Response
Following the incident, the woman immediately reported it to Zomato. The company quickly contacted her and informed her that they would investigate the situation, including hearing the delivery agent's side of the story. She was asked to "wait till further notice."
A few hours later, Zomato informed her that the delivery agent's services had been terminated and that his license had been revoked.
"Zomato connected with me, and I also connected to legal authorities. The delivery guy has been terminated, and his license has been taken away," the woman updated in her post. "I won't say I feel safe now—I still feel unsafe—but they did what they could. I still am paranoid because what if he returns to the address? But I have legal support now," she added.
