Bengaluru Murder: Boyfriend Spends Two Days with Vlogger's Body

In a shocking turn of events, the murder of Maya Gogoi, a vlogger from Assam, has taken a macabre twist as police reveal that her alleged killer, Aarav Hanoy, spent two full days with her body in a service apartment in Bengaluru. The investigation, which began after the discovery of the murder in Indiranagar on Tuesday, has uncovered disturbing details about the time the accused spent near the corpse.

Sources indicate that Aarav, who had been in a relationship with Maya for six months after meeting on social media, was seen smoking cigarettes while sitting in front of her lifeless body. The murder, which is believed to have occurred around midnight on Sunday, was followed by a prolonged period in which Aarav remained with the corpse in the apartment. He had checked into the service apartment with Maya on Saturday, and initial findings suggest that he had brought a knife and nylon rope with him.

Police teams are now actively searching for Aarav, whose phone has been turned off, and are pursuing leads in Kerala and other areas. CCTV footage and tracking of his movements from the apartment have confirmed that he left the apartment at 8:19 AM on Tuesday. Afterward, he disappeared, leaving behind the grisly scene.

Maya had last communicated with her sister on Friday, telling her she would be attending an office party, and again on Saturday, when she said she would not return home due to another party. Authorities now believe that the murder took place shortly after these messages, but the gruesome details of Aarav’s behavior afterward have left many stunned.

The police are continuing their investigation, piecing together the timeline of events and gathering evidence to capture the accused, who remains at large.
