Pune Hit and Run Shocker: Luxury Car Mows Down Food Delivery Agent, Driver Tries to Flee but Lands Behind Bars!

In a tragic hit-and-run incident that unfolded in Pune's Mundhwa area, a food delivery agent lost his life after being struck by a speeding luxury car. The driver, who initially attempted to flee the scene, was promptly arrested by police. Authorities have identified the driver as 34-year-old Ayush Tayal.

The ordeal began when the luxury car first rammed into a two-wheeler, injuring three people, before fatally hitting the delivery agent. The victim, Rauf Sheikh, tragically succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Despite his efforts to escape, Tayal’s car was identified using CCTV footage, leading to his arrest.

This harrowing accident bears a chilling resemblance to another hit-and-run incident in Pune earlier this year, when a 17-year-old boy, allegedly under the influence, crashed into a motorcycle, killing two young victims.

The police have registered a case under multiple sections, and further investigation is underway.
