Breaking News : Congress Questions ECI on Slow Election Results - Leaders Visit Election Commission

The Congress party has voiced concerns regarding the slow updating of assembly election results on the Election Commission of India (ECI) website. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh stated on X that the delays resemble those seen during the Lok Sabha elections, questioning if the BJP is attempting to exert pressure on the administration by circulating outdated trends.
Congress leader Pawan Khera emphasized the discrepancy between the actual rounds counted and the data displayed by the ECI, noting that while 11 rounds have been counted, the commission is still showing information from earlier rounds. In response to these concerns, senior Congress leaders and workers visited the Election Commission to formally address the issue of slow data updates.
Despite these challenges, the ECI indicates that the BJP is poised to retain power in Haryana for a third consecutive term, currently leading in 50 out of 90 seats, while Congress trails with 35 seats. Former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda expressed confidence that Congress will form the government, attributing potential success to the collective efforts of party leaders and the people of Haryana.
