The arrests were made under the direction of SSP Shailesh Kumar Pandey as part of a broader crackdown on criminal activities in Uttar Pradesh.
Four Inter-State Criminals Arrested
The police from Sadar Bazaar station achieved this success by apprehending four criminals from the Ramleela Ground area. These individuals were involved in a sophisticated scam, where they would swap ATM cards to commit fraud. Their criminal activities spanned across multiple states, making them a key target for law enforcement.
Seizure of ATM Cards and Illegal Firearms
During the operation, the police recovered a significant amount of incriminating evidence from the suspects. The items seized include 72 ATM cards, a swiping machine, a car, four mobile phones, and an illegal firearm along with cartridges. The arrested individuals are not residents of Uttar Pradesh; three of them—Akshay, Baljeet, and Dharmpal—are from Delhi, while the fourth, Anil, hails from Rohtak district in Haryana.
