Watch Video: Fire Breaks Out at Greater Noida Hospital, Chaos Ensues; Vehicles Burnt
A huge fire erupted at Swasthyam Hospital in Greater Noida West, putting the staff and residents on panic. The fire engulfed vehicles parked outside and spread into the first floor of the hospital. Videos that appeared on social media showed that employees of the hospital along with the locals were struggling to extinguish the flames.
Quick Response Saves Major Disaster
The hospital is next to a play school. So, there are greater fears of a disaster here. All the children were evacuated safely before the fire could spread. Soon after the blaze was brought under control and thus, a major tragedy was averted.

Fire Cause Under Investigation
The cause of the fire is not known. Still, videos show an electrical transformer near the hospital which may have caused the incident. Authorities are investigating whether negligence or an accident led to the fire.
