Noida Authority CEO Punishes Employee, Makes Him Stand for Half an Hour – Here's What Happened

There was a shocking incident at the Noida Authority office when the CEO punished an employee by making him stand for 20 minutes for delaying a senior citizen's work. The act, which resembles school punishments, shows how firm the CEO is on the issue of accountability and effective public service.

The Incident

The matter was brought to notice when an elderly person made repeated visits to the Residential Department to get his work done but was turned away by the staff. Witnessing this scene through the CCTV cameras installed at the office, Noida Authority CEO intervened, instructing the staff to resolve the issue on the spot.

However, after the order from the CEO, the old man was not attended to. He got frustrated with the non-compliance and personally visited the department and reprimanded the employees and made them stand for 20 minutes as a punishment.

Strict Monitoring System

More than 65 CCTV cameras are installed at the office of Noida Authority, and the system is monitored directly from the control room of the CEO. It is used by the CEO for viewing day-to-day operations and keeping it efficient.
