An application called the "Death Clock" was developed by an American man, who claims it could even indicate the exact date for one's death. The designer says that his aim is to give people real values for their life expectancy and thus make better lifestyle modifications for a healthier long life.

The Death Clock Application

How Long Do You Live? Or wondered which day could be your last? The CEO of Death Clock, Brent Franson, declares that his app can furnish an estimate of death dates to its users if one answers a few questions he poses. According to him, though the app might promise a specific date, the lifestyle of the user can, in turn, be adjusted to live longer. The death clock application is inspired by seeing a lot of friends suffer from addiction. He would like the application to make people find answers to societal problems that are also opposed to traditional healthcare providers as it frustrates and creates healthy life.

One needs to provide certain health information and habits after the installation of the Death Clock application, for example, the hours spent on exercise every day and chronic conditions. It uses this data to compute the most probable year and date of death, thereby offering an approximation of life expectancy.

It's Not About Fear

According to Franson, the app was never meant to scare. "I think we can live longer by being conscious of what we are doing," he says. Death Clock is a tool meant to teach people about health, nudging them to behave better and live longer. It was not created for a bleak prediction.
