Namraj is a Nepalese national who has been working as a security guard at Jain's jewelry shop for the past six months. He has been residing in a security room at the merchant's house during this time. The merchant had handed over the house keys to Namraj for watering the plants while he was abroad, but it became apparent that Namraj had other plans for his trip. The theft had stolen gold jewelry from Jain's family, which consists of five sisters, and all his jewelry business. Jain tried to contact Namraj after the theft. His mobile phone was switched off. Suspicions of involvement were confirmed. Police investigations by Deputy Commissioner of Police Girish are on the matter, which goes through leads that seem to indicate Namraj may have had friends in crime. A police team has left for Nepal on the suspects' trail.
