Greater Noida – In a chilling case, two friends have been arrested for murdering Sanjay Yadav, a property dealer from Ghaziabad. The accused, identified as Vishal Rajput and Jeet Chaudhary, plotted to kill Yadav to steal his cash and gold. The incident took place in Greater Noida's Dadri area when Yadav was lured to the apartment of one of the suspects.
The Brutal Murder
According to police reports, the accused invited Yadav to a residence in Jain Building, Akshay Enclave, under the Madhuban Bapudham police jurisdiction. There, the three consumed alcohol, and when Yadav became inebriated, the two assailants overpowered him. They robbed him of gold jewelry, including a chain, bracelet, ring, and ₹6,250 in cash. When Yadav resisted, they strangled him with a dog leash.
The crime, which took place around 4 PM, was committed in an attempt to steal Yadav's valuables. After killing him, the suspects spent hours figuring out how to dispose of the body. At around 11 PM, they drove Yadav’s body in his Toyota Fortuner to an isolated spot near Nangla Nainsukh, where they set the vehicle on fire to destroy evidence.

Police arrived at the scene after locals reported the burning car. They managed to extinguish the flames, but by then, the body was severely burned. Despite this, investigators identified Yadav through the remains of his clothes and the car’s registration number. The discovery of a burned mobile phone also provided critical evidence.
