For employees with Universal Account Numbers (UAN) issued after October 1, 2017, linked to Aadhaar, employer intervention is no longer required. Additionally:

How to Link Aadhaar with EPF Account

To use the online PF transfer service, your Aadhaar must be linked to your EPF account. Follow these steps:

Visit the EPFO Member e-Sewa portal.
Log in with your UAN, password, and the captcha code.
Go to the ‘Manage’ menu and select ‘KYC’.
Check the box for Aadhaar and enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and name (as per your Aadhaar card).
Click ‘Save’ to submit the details for verification.
Once verified with UIDAI, your Aadhaar will be successfully linked to your EPF account.

What Accounts Are Eligible for Transfer?

Accounts with UAN issued after October 1, 2017, linked to Aadhaar.
Accounts with multiple UANs linked to the same Aadhaar.
Accounts issued before October 1, 2017, where names, dates of birth, and genders match.
